During the summer of 2020 Hendrix-ISA organized a webinar series for the North American egg industry. The theme of the webinar series was “back to the basics”. Much attention was given to the rearing and growing period, i.e., how to grow a day-old chick into a successful pullet. Think off management advice on brooding chicks for best starts, the optimization of vaccination strategies, tips and tricks on feed-management for successful pullet development, to managing the pullet through a successful start of the laying period.
