Top U.S. egg producer Ranking of 2022

WATTPoultry have published the 2022 Top U.S. egg producing companies. We have listed the top 40 egg U.S. egg producing companies for you.

The total number of laying hens housed in the U.S. at the end of 2021 was virtually unchanged from the end of 2020. The transition from cages to cage-free does not seem to lower the U.S. layer population. the 2021 Top Egg Company Survey estimates that the 67 largest U.S. egg producers had 344.72 million hens housed on December 31, 2021.

When looking at the 10 largest U.S. egg producers, they are responsible for 52.6% of the total U.S. table egg production. Over 70% of the U.S. eggs are produced by the top 20 U.S. egg producers
