Get to know our Team: Katie Kurtz
Katie Kurtz joined the team of Hendrix-ISA a few years ago as Breeder Manager in Nebraska. As we have experienced solid growth since our start less than a decade ago, we have ample room for career development. Katie Kurtz is a great example of how you can grow quickly within the Hendrix-ISA Team.
Katie Kurtz started with Hendrix-ISA back in 2018 as the Breeder Manager in Nebraska. After a year, Katie transferred back to Pennsylvania working in the hatchery and layer breeder farms before finally taking over the hatchery compliance in the fall of 2019. During these years Katie gained a lot of experience on poultry. In the final quarter of 2020 Katie started working with Rick Meck (NE Key Account Manager) as account and tech support while training for a sales role. In the fall of 2021 Katie was given the full role as NE Region Key Account Manager.
Katie studied at Penn State University and graduated in December 2017 with a degree in Animal Science and minors in Poultry Sciences and Agribusiness management.
