New Team Members Join Hendrix-ISA

We are pleased to welcome three new team members to the Hendrix-ISA team. Scott, Steve, and James will each bring their skills and experience to manage our operational hubs and to provide quality support to our clients.

Scott Ewing – Key Account Manager, West Coast USA

Scott brings a wealth of technical and client service experience to support customers located in the West Coast. He grew up on a small farm in Northeast Iowa and later graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agriculture Business and International Agriculture. Afterwards, Scott spent a number of years living and working in the country of Ukraine. He managed construction projects as well as farmed and sold layer breeders in the former Soviet Union. Scott and his family now live in Corvallis, Oregon, enjoying the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. His interests include international travel, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.

Steve Seward – Location Manager, Nebraska

Steve joins our team in the position of Location Manager for Nebraska with over 30 years of experience in the industry. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Agriculture Economics. Steve has 16 years of experience in live production including management positions in grow-out, breeder, and hatchery operations. He also has significant experience in processing as Plant Manager for turkeys and broilers and was the General Manager for Turkey Valley Farms. In his spare time, Steve enjoys golfing, camping, and spending time with his wife, two sons, and grandchildren.

James McKeel – Location Manager, Virginia

James joins our team in the position of Location Manager for Virginia. James has 10 years of experience in the industry, where he was previously the Hatchery Manager for Case Farms, working closely with the breeder and live production departments. He then broadened his experience in his position at Joe Jurgielewicz & Son, a duck hatchery. James built his knowledge and experience working with genetic programs, breeding, grow-out, and logistics. James is married with 3 children ranging in ages from 10-13.  Outside of work he enjoys a variety of sports and spending time with family.
